DONATIONS NEEDED FOR BUILDING REPAIRS!
Our beautiful building is in need of repairs!  Last year we replaced our furnace.  This year brings two new challenges – replacing the rotten trellis and roof area over the entrance and re-building the stone foundation on the back right corner.  Estimates to complete the two projects are over $7500. We are greatful for the grant of $2,500 we received from the James Tasker Covered Bridges Fund. However, we still need $5,000 to complete these repairs! DUES
It is that time of year again!  Our fiscal (and dues) year run until May 31, 2010.  For those of you who paid for a year membership in 2009, it is now time to renew your membership and pay your dues for 2010/11.  Dues are $10 for one year for an individual and $15 for a two person membership.  (Ten Year memberships are $50 and $75 for a two person and Lifetime is $100 for an individual  and $150 for a lifetime two person membership.)  Please send your membership renewal to the Plainfield Historical Society at PO Box 107, Plainfield, NH  03781
