The Plainfield Historical Society has entered into a challenge for 2008!!! Your membership could help us receive a grant of $25,000.
The Robert and Karin Finlay Foundation is offering a historical society in the state of New Hampshire a $25,000 award for the greatest increase in MEMBERSHIP as determined by both total number of members and the percent increase in members before October 31, 2008. That $25,000 would help do building repairs, provide the funding for an addition to house our expanding archival collection and enable us to make more materials available in digital format.
